Dong Ho Wu is a research physicist at the materials science and technology Division at the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D.C., and is also an adjunct professor in the Physics Department at Temple University. Before joining the NRL in 2001, he served as a research faculty member in the Physics Department at the University of Maryland, College Park, from 1991 until 2001. In 1991, for a few months, he was a member of technical staff at GTE (General Telephone and Electric) Laboratories, Waltham, MA. He was also a post-doctoral fellow at Northeastern University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Tufts University and, as a visiting research assistant, carried out his Ph.D. research at Northeastern University and MIT Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory.
