Wes Fulton

Mr. Wes Fulton is founder and CEO of Fulton Findings(TM). Mr. Fulton worked for 16 years as an aircraft actuation systems program engineer for the AiResearch Los Angeles Division of AlliedSignal Aerospace Corporation. As a program engineer for maneuvering fly-by-wire flight controls he had engineering and management responsibility for the Taiwanese Indigenous Defensive Fighter leading edge flap actuation system (LEFAS) both development and production, the Rockwell/MBB X-31A experimental aircraft LEFAS flight testing, and the deployment support for General Dynamics’ F-16 Fighting Falcon LEFAS. While at AiResearch he co-patented a high-performance drive-train device called the “multi-fuseable shaft”. Mr. Fulton has over 25 years of programming experience as a private programmer. He developed the first widely-used Weibull Engineering software called WeibullSMITH(TM). He transitioned that basic software for DOS into Windows-compatible programs SuperSMITH(TM) Weibull and SuperSMITH Visual, the widely adopted software for variability modeling and statistics. He is a contributor to Dr. Abernethy’s standard Weibull Engineering reference, The New Weibull Handbook(c). He presented Dr. Bob Abernethy’s Weibull Engineering Workshop hundreds of times, some for government organizations, some for business entities, and some for engineering societies both in the United States and internationally. He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech and his M.S. in mechanical engineering from California State University at Long Beach.
