QinetiQ
Sam Chakour is a senior robotics software engineer (SW) specializing in autonomous systems and control, modeling and simulation (M&S) analysis, and model-based mission SW development. He currently works for QinetiQ Inc., in Lorton, VA, as a research and development engineer in the
intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and unmanned ground vehicle sensors. Prior to QinetiQ, he was a senior M&S software architect and M&S data analyst for autonomous unmanned aerial systems
at Aurora Flight Sciences in Manassas, VA. He holds an M.S. in electrical engineering and applied mathematics from Grenoble-Alpes University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from George Mason University.
