Bioinformatics Lead, RXEB
My name is Dr. Blake Stamps and I am the bioinformatics lead within the Biomaterials Branch of the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate at AFRL. My group leads a number of projects ranging from Muskox genetics identifying new possible materials all the way to high-throughput DNA/RNA sequencing of aircraft to understand how the microbiome influences the built environment. We also utilize reproducible informatics workflows to make our science more agile and accessible across the DoD computing enterprise.
