The 2025 Future Indirect Fires Summit will bring together leaders from the indirect-fire community to discuss the latest innovations in indirect fire systems, support systems, munitions, and challenges presented by the current conflict in Ukraine. Discussions will focus on achieving enhanced lethality, survivability, precision, and range.

Thought leaders will provide insights into modern warfare and the quest for increased firepower. Throughout the summit, current U.S. DoD programs will be examined, including the new Self-Propelled Howitzer, the Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment Two, and Project LASSO, among others. The event will serve as a platform to address the challenges of counter UAS and C4ISR to support indirect fire success.

Challenges of keeping up with rapidly evolving technology and the need for common software systems will also be explored. Additionally, the 2025 Future Indirect Fires Summit will investigate the defense industrial base’s critical role in supporting indirect fires, provide a platform for operational-level leaders on capability gaps, and discuss the future of indirect fires and their pivotal role in military success.
