OVERVIEW

Host:  Joint Combat Assessment Team (JCAT)

Sponsor:  Joint Aircraft Survivability Program Office

The Joint Combat Assessment Team will host the 2026 Threat Weapons & Effects (TWE) Training at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL, from 12-14 May 2026. This annual training event is a collaborative effort between JCAT, DEVCOM Analysis Center, Naval Air Systems Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Missile and Space Intelligence Center, National Ground Intelligence Center, and other agencies. The training draws information from threat exploitation, live fire testing, and combat experience to provide a complete picture of threat lethality. Hands-on experience is provided with threat munitions/missiles, test articles, and damaged aircraft hardware. Experienced professionals provide current, relevant information on threat system upgrades, proliferation, and lethality.

Registration is open to U.S. citizens only. The security classification of the training is SECRET/NOFORN. Be sure to also submit your visit request in accordance with information provided in the Security tab.

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 240 ATTENDEES. ADDITIONAL REGISTRANTS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAIT LIST.

Seating is limited for TWE, i.e., the Eglin Enlisted Hall. We can guarantee two seats per unit, with additional seats filled on a first-come-first-served basis. If your plans change after registration, please notify the DSIAC or JCAT ASAP so your reserved seat can be made available to another interested party.

Monday, 11 May 2026:  Check-In and Security In-Processing:

Preregistration will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CDT on Monday, 11 May 2026, at The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach, FL. Registrants will receive a badge and final program at this time. Late check-in and security in-processing will be available one hour before conference start time at the Eglin Enlisted Hall. 

Landing Fee:

$30.00 for all attending. **Attendees must pay in person.**

Daily morning and afternoon beverages and associated food items will be made available by the TWE support team. The one-time payment for this service will be collected during check-in; however, no receipt will be provided. Based on the newly implemented Joint Travel Regulation, this payment must be paid out of the traveler's per diem and cannot be reimbursed as an additional expense.
