Gary Pounder is a retired USAF officer with a background in both intelligence and C2. He was one of the first USAF intelligence officers to graduate from the USAF Weapons School and served two tours as an airborne intelligence officer on EC-130E battle management aircraft, with combat experience in Bosnia, Haiti, and the Middle East. Since leaving active duty in 2001, he has worked as a denial and deception analyst; a higher education administrator; and, most recently, a training analyst for Air Combat Command. Maj. Pounder holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Arkansas State University and a master’s degree in public administration from Valdosta State University.
