The U.S. Army has developed a prototype called Tactical Network Transport-On the Move. According to this article, this capability was created by the U.S. Army’s tactical network modernization team and is intended to improve its armor brigades’ connection to the network while on the move. It also allows improved connectivity in tactical environments and is currently being fielded to infantry and Stryker brigades.
