The High-Speed/Hypersonic (HSH) Subarea of the Air Platforms Community of Interest is pleased to announce their Technical Roadmap Interchange Meeting (TRIM) in the Washington D.C. area on April 15-16, 2026. Depending on interest, the meeting may be extended to the morning of April 17, 2026. This meeting brings together the U.S. national applied technology sector and government portfolio managers (GS-15 level or their representatives) from across the U.S. Department of War (DoW). It will be held at the classified SECRET level, and there will not be a secure video teleconference option for this event.

Presentations from the DoW providing updates on current roadmaps and Warfighter perspectives are planned for the morning of April 15. The next phase of the meeting will be an open forum to gather nonproprietary input from attendees. This input will be considered by the government in its internal roadmap development process and may consist of identified and prioritized technology roadmap gaps, identified internally developed research and development (IRAD) investments relevant to the government roadmaps, or discussion of current and future technology gaps relevant to the roadmaps. Note that sharing information about IRAD investments during the open session is not required, and each company is encouraged to adhere to its own requirements for protecting intellectual property. It is also important to note that the government retains full discretion and control over its technology roadmaps. The final phase (1-2 days) will consist of short one-on-one presentations where the applied technology sector can present relevant capabilities and technologies (such as IRAD) to the government. The presenters to the government during the one-on-one sessions will be individuals from industry, federally funded research centers (FFRDCs), university-affiliated research centers (UARCs), or small businesses (SBs). These one-on-one sessions are for informational purposes only and will not be used to solicit formal recommendations or consensus advice.

Disclaimer:
Please note that this meeting is for information and exchange only. It is not a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment by the government for any purpose, nor does it restrict the government to an ultimate acquisition approach. The government retains full authority and responsibility for developing its technology roadmaps. Any information submitted is strictly voluntary, and the government will not pay for any information submitted. Funding for travel and presentation efforts is expected to be paid for with your company’s funds. No consensus advice or recommendations by nongovernment participants will be sought or considered. The government will ensure that all discussions remain within the scope of permitted information gathering and that no improper influence is exerted by nongovernment participants.
