JMUM HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 5-7, 2025. REGISTRATION IS OPEN.
The 2025 Joint Aircraft Survivability Program (JASP) Model Users Meeting (JMUM) will take place at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in Atlanta, Georgia on August 5-7, 2025. The plenary session will take place on August 5, with the breakout sessions occurring August 6-7.
The purpose of this recurring meeting is to provide model users, managers, stakeholders, and other interested individuals with the latest information regarding JASP-sponsored modeling and simulation (M&S) tools, as well as others, used by the aircraft survivability community to evaluate aircraft performance in realistic threat environments. Attendees will be briefed on software developments, upgrades, and threat model updates in a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)-classified environment.
This year’s JMUM will include further discussions regarding full-spectrum, multidomain survivability M&S; however, there will be additional emphasis on digital engineering and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Historically, the meeting includes a combined plenary session followed by concurrent group breakout sessions on specific topics (e.g., mission-level, engagement, vulnerability/lethality, etc.). Check the provided schedule/agenda tab below for the latest information on the breakout sessions.
JMUM attendees are encouraged to share insights and lessons learned from the practical use of aircraft survivability M&S tools in their respective user group breakouts. (Refer to the agenda tab for the daily schedule.) If you are a presenter, please send your unclassified/CUI slides by July 21 to Alfred Yee at alfred.yee@dsiac.org or alfred.yee.ctr@us.af.mil. Regarding CUI briefings, you must deliver the slides via a password-protected DoD SAFE drop-off or encrypted email. Please contact Alfred if you need a DoD SAFE drop-off link. If you have classified briefing(s), please send them via SIPR by July 14 to alfred.q.yee.ctr@mail.smil.mil.
If you are interested in presenting at the JMUM or have any questions, please contact Ryan Gilpin, SURVICE Engineering, at JMUM@survice.com (937-739-4474) or Alfred Yee, DSIAC, at alfred.yee@dsiac.org (937-255-4608). Please pass along relevant, initial briefing ideas via JMUM@survice.com as soon as possible, but no later than COB June 27.
Please see the “Additional Details” tab for the travel justification statement.
