Joe Helfrich has 24 years of experience in a variety of industries including computers, point of sale, telecom, video gaming, government contracting, and academia. Prior to co-founding BluePath, Mr. Helfrich held leadership positions at a number of successful start-ups including Kadix Systems, a small 8(a) management consulting company that grew 10x in five years and was acquired for $47M cash and Exent Technologies, an Israeli video gaming company venture funded by NEA, AOL, Comcast, Intel and Yahoo! among others. Mr. Helfrich has consulted for Fortune 50 companies, Academia, and Government clients including DHS, DOE, National Labs, Army, Air Force, SOCOM, and the IC. Mr. Helfrich holds dual BS degrees from the University of Maryland (Computer Information Systems and Finance) and an MBA (Entrepreneurial Studies) from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also PMP certified and holds active multiple clearances.
