Robert Kargus is an engineer at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory specializing in occupant safety technology and mechanical shock experimentation. His subject matter expertise includes experimental methods for secondary blast, blast-resistant seating, and airbags and energy-mitigating devices for the prevention of traumatic injury to vehicle occupants. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from Kettering University.
