The Defense Systems Information Analysis Center (DSIAC) is seeking information on pod -based solutions for electronics support or signals intelligence systems capable of operations on a fixed wing aircraft. Capabilities in frequencies spanning anywhere from high-frequency to Ka-bands are of interest for areas like direction-finding, geo-location, survey, and active effects. The system should adhere to the following limitations:
- Technical readiness level 6 or higher
- Total weight not to exceed 1,000 lb. (for large- and small-scale systems)
- Total system power draw not to exceed 3 kW
- Systems should be capable of operations in the following environmental conditions:
- Ambient temperature ratings should be between -20 °C and 45 °C
- Flight altitudes up to 20,000-ft above ground level
Responses should include the following:
1) system overview,
2) size, weight, and power,
3) capabilities details (active/passive functions, frequency range, transmit/receive channels, instantaneous bandwidth, signals/waveforms supported, antenna schema/beamwidths/orientations/polarization, etc.), and
4) development/operational history (certifications/testing/G loading and examples of approved flight on manned aircraft).
