Adapting the proper engine to align with the operational objectives of the unmanned aerial system (UAS) airframe is not a singular consideration. Developing powerplants with proven performance and reliability, to include multi-modal interface by design, is a critical consideration for delivering high-consequence mission success that is essential in tomorrow’s unmanned battlefield.
