This presentation will focus on integrating existing sensors or cameras with existing weapon stations to develop passive optical tracking and error correction for small-caliber Remote Weapon Stations (RWS). Historically, medium- and large-caliber systems have used radar for projectile tracking and error correction. This effort will determine if visible and/or thermal imaging camera systems can track the fired projectiles with the necessary precision at a much lower cost.
