DSIAC subject matter experts (SMEs) researched various instructional methodologies and technologies used to enhance staff training and learning. The response included information related to formal studies and technical reports identified from DTIC’s R&E Gateway, National Technical Information Service (NTIS), EBSCO databases, and other sources concerning military adaptive training, human factors, staff training, training effectiveness, memory retention, mission rehearsal exercises, peer-to-peer training, and use of artificial intelligence in training. Additionally, DSIAC generated a list of publications related to training effectiveness research and programs specifically conducted for Department of Defense institutions. Finally, DSIAC provided the inquirer with a list of SMEs capable of offering on-going assistance in both fundamental and applied research pertaining to the topic along with their respective expertise in specific training areas (e.g., embedded training, virtual electronic training, training effectiveness, etc.).
