DSIAC was asked to compile a literature review of current and past publications of MEMS acoustic sensor modeled after the small parasitic Ormia ochracea fly. There was particular interest in U.S. and foreign government areas of investment, patents, and applications. DSIAC performed searches of open sources, the SCOPUS database, the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) database, the DTIC Research and Engineering (R&E) Gateway, the DTIC-powered U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Investment Budget Search tool, and public patents.
