DSIAC was asked to compile technical information on the Bosnian M69 82-mm mortar produced by Bosnia-Novitravca—specifically, unclassified studies on materials specifications, operating pressures, ballistic pressures, and ammo types and specifications. DSIAC first searched the DTIC R&E Gateway and delivered a six-document bibliography to the inquirer, along with a U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command test plan for the system. DSIAC also acquired an M69 82-mm mortar training manual and digitized it for the inquirer. Finally, DSIAC was able to connect the inquirer with subject matter experts from the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command’s G-2 Intelligence Analysis Control Element team and the National Ground Intelligence Center for further discussions.
