In support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) and Future and Concepts Center (FCC) Team Ignite efforts to synchronize the Army concept and capability development process, the Defense Systems Information Analysis Center (DSIAC) contacted the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) for assistance since it provides the U.S. Department of Defense training courses related to this area. DAU connected the inquirer with the Director of Laboratory Management for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, who provided the inquirer with the needed materials.
DSIAC also provided information and contacts from a related inquiry for review of a U.S. Army Research Laboratory position paper on prototyping, “The Span of Prototyping in Defense Research, Engineering, Acquisition, and Sustainment,” written by the ARL Office of Strategy Management.
